UnboundED
UnboundED is dedicated to providing the support and resources to give all students access to high-quality, meaningful, and affirming instruction. In order to advance this work, UnboundED has launched UnboundEd Planning Process so teachers, school officials, coaches, and other staff can better plan their lessons and curriculum with equity and intention in mind. This series of five online modules is self-paced and interactive, accompanied by resource guides and quizzes to increase engagement.
Per Scholas
Per Scholas works to provide training, employment networks, and career development to those traditionally excluded from the tech industry, in order to increase workforce skill sets and advance economic equity. In their new partnership with Indeed, a job-search platform, Per Scholas is promoting their new tool, Skill Connect. This platform will further Per Scholas’s goal of economic equity by connecting skilled workers without a college degree who have been trained through programs like Per Scholas with career opportunities in the tech industry and beyond.
Aurora Institute
The Aurora Institute develops new models and ways to transform K-12 public education across the United States through policy and research, as well as hosting convenings to share knowledge and best practices with educators and leaders. Ahead of their Fall 2023 Aurora Institute Symposium, they are highlighting digital content including videos, slideshows, resources, and more from their 2022 programming and conversations, available for viewing on their website today!
Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC)
Local Initiative Support Corporation, LISC, is a national nonprofit that works to uplift communities across the country by bridging the gap between capital and technical capacity and communities that need support. This Pride Month, LISC is highlighting the intersection of community development and the LGBTQIA+ community by sharing stories and examples from communities across the country, as well as educational and actionable resources.
Zearn
Zearn believes every student can learn and love math, and helps to provide teachers, students, and school leaders the resources and curricula to make impactful math education accessible across the country. Zearn is helping educators make this summer count by sharing digital, grade-level-based math lessons to help students hone their skills and develop and test new ones! Teachers can access the 30 minute lessons for free on the Zearn website today!
