Teach For America is building the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort.  Teach For America recruits diverse, outstanding college graduates to commit two years to teach in low-income urban and rural communities, and become life-long advocates to expand opportunities for children.  Today, 4,400 corps members teach in 1,000 schools, and more than 12,000 alumni work from within education and from every other sector to effect social change.
