Project HEALTH is engaging a corps of 350 dedicated undergraduate volunteers in overcoming barriers to positive health outcomes for more than 2,600 low-income families and their children each year. Project HEALTH Family Help Desks use the doctor’s office as a gateway to connect families with key government and community resources. Project HEALTH’s after-school programs provide low-income youth impacted by obesity, asthma, sickle cell disease, HIV, and diabetes with the skills and knowledge they need to care for their health.
